Yes. WakeAnchor Basic is available for free private, non-commercial use.
If WakeAnchor helps you keep long tasks running, saves you time, or simply makes your daily Windows workflow a little smoother, voluntary support is genuinely appreciated. Even a small contribution helps keep the project alive and improving. Your support helps cover real project costs such as hosting, license-server operation, maintenance, Windows testing, documentation, bug fixes and future development. It also makes it easier to keep the Basic version available for private users.
You can support WakeAnchor voluntarily via BTC: bc1qpvq3t2gs0rfyh4hcgnl2yhdhfrvrajx35r5fs6

Basic is intended for private, non-commercial use and includes the core keep-awake functionality, tray control, hotkey support, Quiet Hours, Real Mouse Stop and local configuration.
Pro is designed for individual professional users who need more automation, additional profiles, scheduling, app/window rules, Timeline, Auto-Recovery hints and Safe Stop.
Business is intended for companies, teams, organizations and commercial use. It adds business-oriented licensing, central configuration, company profile defaults, optional admin statistics and deployment-oriented settings.
No. WakeAnchor is not designed to bypass workplace rules, IT security policies, monitoring systems, attendance requirements, time-tracking systems or collaboration-tool status policies.
WakeAnchor is intended for transparent and legitimate use where allowed. Before using it on a company-managed device or in an organizational environment, make sure that such use is permitted by the applicable rules and policies.
No. WakeAnchor helps manage local Windows session activity according to your settings, but it does not control or guarantee the status shown by Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom or other collaboration platforms.
Third-party applications may use their own presence logic, policies and detection methods. WakeAnchor should not be presented as a tool for manipulating or bypassing those systems.
WakeAnchor may contact the configured license server to verify license status, product version, minimum required build and available updates.
Depending on your license and configuration, the check may include technical data such as product ID, app version/build, license key, license email if provided, device or installation identifier, timestamps and technical connection data such as IP address. Optional diagnostic or admin logs are written only when enabled and only to the configured local or network path.
WakeAnchor can check whether a newer version is available and whether a minimum required version is enforced by the license server.
For normal updates, settings, license data and local logs are preserved. Only the application EXE is replaced. During beta releases, a backup of the previous EXE may be kept as a fallback. If a required minimum version is not met, WakeAnchor may block activation until the update is installed.
WakeAnchor is currently provided as a Stable Beta.
It is actively maintained and intended for practical testing and daily use, but behavior may still vary depending on Windows settings, device policies, security software, power settings and system configuration. Features, licensing behavior and update handling may still change before a final production release.
